Nathan Ryan Ash

Nathan Ash, PharmD, MBA, is Vice President of Pharmacy – Acute Care at Bon Secours Mercy Health in Cincinnati, OH. In his current role, Nathan is responsible for the pharmacy operations and clinical services at 38 hospitals across Bon Secours Mercy Health. Nathan is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy. In this role, Nathan teaches in the Masters in Pharmacy Leadership program and precepts students on Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE).

Prior to accepting his current position, Nathan was the System Director of Clinical Pharmacy Services for Mercy Health. Nathan received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University, Ada, OH in 2005. In 2014, he received his Master of Business Administration degree from Bluffton University, Bluffton, OH. Nathan is also board certified in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS). He has been the lead author or co-author of several peer-reviewed professional posters and publications. He is an active member of ASHP and OSHP, and he has served as a member of various ASHP Section Committees.
