Professional Summary
I attended the Brooklyn College Branch of the City University of New York. I then proceeded to Meharry Medical College and subsequently to the University of Cincinnati residency program where I served as co-chief resident during my final year. I have completed a faculty development fellowship at the University of North Carolina/Chapel Hill. I completed a survey research project on PSA screening by primary care physicians. My research interests include geriatrics, preventive medicine and minority health issues. I hope to continue small research projects in the future. I am married with two young sons and a daughter. My personal interests include spending time with my family, listening to music, and various exercise and sporting activities. I also enjoy spending time with medical students, both on a formal and informal basis.
