Germán Barrera Toro is a novelist. He has a Master´s degree in Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), Master's degree in Narrative from Escuela de Escritores (EE), and is a PhD Student in Romance Languages and Literatures at UC. He is the author of two novels, Hace días que llueve mierda (Spain, 2022) and El goleador (Guatemala, 2024). He also has experience as content senior editor of the Rio Grande Review journal from UTEP and as digital content editor of the agency Virtual Community Building (VCB) in Colombia.
