Germán Barrera Toro is a novelist. He has a Master´s degree in Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), Master's degree in Narrative from Escuela de Escritores (EE), and is a PhD Student in Romance Languages and Literatures at UC. He is the author of two novels, Hace días que llueve mierda (Spain, 2022) and El goleador (Guatemala, 2024).
