Professional Summary
Personal Statement
I was drawn to internal medicine as I realized the practice of internal medicine as a bridge between scientific advancements and compassionate patient care. Throughout my clinical rotations, the power of the doctor-patient relationship became evident. Beyond the medical complexities, there's a human connection that underlies the practice of internal medicine. Understanding a patient's unique journey, listening to their concerns, and collaborating on a treatment plan require not only medical acumen but also empathy and effective communication.
Why I Chose Cincinnati
I chose Cincinnati for my Internal Medicine training because of my interactions with the faculty and residents during my interview. Overall, I was impressed with how involved the faculty and residents are in helping every person in the program reach their full potential. In addition, Cincinnati is such a vibrant city with lots of fun activities for everyone. As a tennis fan, it was evident to me that Cincinnati’s tennis culture was something that I could be a part of and thoroughly enjoy. I am excited to be joining the UC family!
