She is board certified in Internal medicine and Endocrinology. Her current clinical and research focus is pituitary diseases. In collaboration with neurosurgery she runs a combined Neuroendocrinology clinic for much needed multidisciplinary management of these patients. This weekly clinic is located in UC Gardner neuroscience insititute.

After she finished medical school in India, she joined the graduate program of Pathobiology and Molecular Medicine  in 2001 at UC. She successfully earned her PhD degree in 2007 with multiple peer reviewed publications. Her thesis focused on “ Virulence factors involved in the pathogenesis of Aspergillus fumigatus” She completed her internal medicine residency at The Christ Hospital Cincinnati and then moved to University of Virginia in Charlottesville for her endocrinology fellowship.

Having trained at UVA, which is an internationally recognized tertiary pituitary center, her interest and passion for pituitary diseases came naturally. Her goal is to make the current Neuroendocrinology clinic grow into a pituitary excellence center to serve the Tristate area. She serves as the PI for cliinical trials focusing on pituitary disorders. She is actively involved in resident and fellow education which is her favorite aspect of academic medicine.
