Michael Binder , MD,MPH

Michael Binder is a physician-educator who practices general internal medicine at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Michael is the Medical Director for the Hoxworth Addiction Recovery Clinic (HARC), which he co-founded in 2023. He is a Core Faculty member for the University of Cincinnati Internal Medicine Residency Program and Course Director for the Physician-Patient Communication Course for fourth-year medical students.

Michael's clinical interests include physician-patient communication and caring for people with substance use disorders (SUD). His academic work focuses on integrating SUD care into general interal medicine settings.
