Ana J Bird

Ana Bird grew up and started her early ballet training in Maryland and West Virginia. In Maryland she began her training with Deborah Bailay, and later with Alison Miller at the Beltsville Ballet Academy Barns. She continued her training in Morgantown, Md., with Shirley Schreiber and Beth Barnes. In Pittsburgh she studied with Robert Vickrey at the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, and abroad with Rūta Butvilienė, director of the Vilnius National Ballet Theater. She holds a degree in Global Cultural Studies from Point Park University. Bird has been teaching creative movement and ballet to ages 3-12 for ten years at various schools in West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Lithuania and Cincinnati.
