Professional Summary
Professor Bottoni was appointed as an instructor at the University of Cincinnati in 1969. He was promoted to an associate professor with tenure in 1977 and promoted to professor in 1986. His teaching responsibilities have primarily focused on third and fourth year communication design courses in the graphic design program. He received the Annual Award for Outstanding Teaching in 1994. Professor Bottoni managed his own graphic design firm serving local and national clients from 1968 to 1997. His work has been recognized in national and international exhibits, including representation in the American Institute of Graphic Arts and the American Center for Design's juried shows. His work has appeared in professional publications and books. These include Print's Regional Design Annual, AIGA Graphic Design USA Annual, Top Symbols and Trademarks of the World, Print Magazine Casebook, Visual Puns in Design, Letterheads: A Collection from Around the World, and Getting Unlimited Impact with Limited Color.
