Professional Summary
Jordan is a first-year PhD student in ancient history. He recieved his BA and MA in History from North Carolina State University in 2021 and 2023 respectively. His thesis entitled "City of Thunder: Numismatics, Space, and Civic Identity" dealt with how the circulation of coinage helped to create imagined spaces in Seleucid cities. He is primarily interested in urbanism and dynastic ideology in the Seleucid and Ptolemaic empires but he is also interested in Roman France and 6th century Byzantium.
