Professional Summary

Giulia is a first-year Ph.D. student in Classical Philology.
She received her B.A. (2022) and M.A. (2024) in Classics from the University of Trento, Italy. She has enriched her academic training through experiences in the vibrant U.S. Classics community, studying as an exchange student at the University of Cincinnati and as a visiting student at the University of Kansas.
Her research focuses primarily on Greek tragedy, with particular attention to the portrayal of masculine expressions of grief. She is also interested in classical reception—especially in theatrical performances— and Ancient mythology.
