Professional Summary

Prior to her joining the Faculty Enrichment Center (FEC) at the University of Cincinnati (UC), Sarah was the assistant director for research development in the Office of Research at UC. She holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Thomas More University and a master’s in business administration from the Lindner College of Business at University of Cincinnati UC. Sarah is a trained facilitator through the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research (CIMER), having completed extensive training facilitation. Additionally, she has also completed CIMER’s culturally aware mentoring (CAM) training.

As a dedicated leader, Sarah has built a diverse career spanning business, research, and academia, seamlessly integrating real-world experience with scholarly insights. She currently serves as the director of the FEC at the UC, where she passionately advocates for faculty growth and research excellence.
With robust expertise in strategic thinking and collaboration, Sarah excels in developing and delivering comprehensive faculty development programs, steering strategic planning efforts, and spearheading cross-departmental initiatives. She has a proven track record of managing transformative programs and conducting workshops designed to empower faculty and researchers to achieve their best.

Driven by a commitment to continuous learning and mentorship, Sarah is dedicated to inspiring others with a forward-looking vision. She actively embraces the opportunity to learn from the diverse experiences of faculty, staff, and students alike. Her involvement in professional organizations like National Organization of Research Development Professionals (NORDP) and the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) has empowered her to be a knowledge leader, representing the university on a national stage and bringing innovative practices back to campus. 

A standout achievement for Sarah is the creation, development, and implementation of the New Faculty Orientation Program (NFCA) at the UC. This signature program, offered through the FEC focused on promoting access, belonging, and community for new faculty members. The NFCA, is structured as a unique collaborative learning circle and aims to ensure a more seamless integration and active engagement of new faculty within the Bearcat community.
