Professional Summary
Supporting student learning has been the central goal of my career in education. After graduating from Ashland University, I joined Teach for America in the Mississippi Delta. I taught third grade for three years in Clarksdale, Mississippi before transitioning to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. In addition to earning my Master"s degree in higher education, I worked at Miami for four years as a first-year academic advisor and residence hall director. In 2016, I moved to University of Cincinnati as an academic advisor in the new Pathways Advising center, working with transfer students and students changing their majors. Starting in summer of 2017, I joined the Graduate Programs Office in the Lindner College of Business, supporting the MBA program. My role in LCB combines my interest in academic advising with program development and working with adult learners.
