Wendy J Dorn

Locally, Wendy J. Dorn has stage managed for Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati and The Human Race Theatre Company in Dayton. She has worked for Cincinnati Ballet as company manager and production manager, and Cincinnati Arts Association as Event Supervisor/Manager on Duty at Music Hall. Her Chicago credits include That’s Christmas!, Chicago’s Merry Musical with Sandy Duncan; Disney’s Hercules premiere, National Jewish Theatre, Court Theatre, International Theatre Festival of Chicago and production coordination at Navy Pier.

Ms. Dorn toured nationally with Angels in America and Picasso at the Lapin Agile, and in Germany with The Who’s Tommy. Her special events and corporate experience includes stage management for Batesville Casket Company’s annual sales and service meetings and opening gala performances for Dayton’s Schuster Center and the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, and production management for Perfetti Van Melle’s Mentos Geysers World Record event on Fountain Square. She has guest lectured at Wright State University and University of Michigan and stage managed Susannah for their Opera department.

Ms. Dorn has also served as mentor for USITT’s Stage Management Mentorship Project and Equity stage management panelist at the USITT conference.
