Professional Summary

Madison joined the A&S Declared Advising team in May 2025. She works with undergraduate Psychology students. 

Previously, she worked at Ohio University for two years as a Graduate Assistant for the Cutler Scholars Program, while also completing a practicum in A&S Advising and a teaching practicum. 

Originally from Jackson, Ohio, Madison attended Hocking College as a CCP student and received her Associate of Applied Science in Film & Video Production in 2020. Subsequently, she went on to obtain her Bachelor of Arts in English from Bowling Green State University in 2023 while also minoring in Japanese and Psychology. Her English senior thesis focused on comparing the works of Virginia Woolf and E.M. Forster. In spring 2025, she received her Master of Education in College Student Personnel from Ohio University. 

Outside of work, Madison is passionate about film and is an avid screenwriter. Her research interests include adaptation studies, Modernist and Romantic literature, screenwriting, educational access in rural areas, and College Credit Plus. She also enjoys going to the movie theater, attending a Reds game, and playing cozy video games & RPGs.
