Professional Summary
Personal Statement
From the first days of medical school I have reflected on the question, "What does it mean to be a good doctor?" It goes without saying that a good doctor follows the Hippocratic oath, doesn't break HIPAA, and knows medicine well. In talking with residents and attendings, observing their work, and practicing the practice of medicine, I developed a philosophy for how to care for patients, which I summarize as; To develop a deep knowledge of the human body and experience, to focus on consistent goal-oriented improvement, and to always center the patient's care and wishes in conversation, thoughts, and actions.
