Professional Summary
Diego Gomez is a passionate product designer, researcher, and educator with a robust background in Industrial Design, User Experience and Design Research. With a deep interest in human interaction, user experience design, and its impact on health and well-being, Diego has developed a rich portfolio that spans healthcare, accessibility, and sustainable design.
Currently serving as an Annualized Adjunct Professor at the University of Cincinnati, Diego teaches in the Industrial Design, Communication Design, and Master of Design programs. Diego is also a Faculty Lead, Team Lead, and Design Research Fellow at The Live Well Collaborative, where his research focuses on enhancing the quality of life for childhood and young adult cancer survivors. As the founder of 362 Studio, Diego continues to drive innovation in user experience and behavioral research.
Diego's professional journey is marked by significant contributions to healthcare-related design projects, including prosthetics for children, telehealth tools, and service design for cancer survivorship.
In addition to their design expertise, Diego has a strong foundation in teaching and mentorship, leading classes that emphasize sketching skills, CAD for ideation, and collaborative design processes. Their approach to education is deeply informed by their industry experience, making them a valuable asset to both their students and the design community at large.
