Professional Summary
I hold a Bachelors in anglophone studies from Toulouse Jean Jaurès University (France), a Master's in anglophone studies from Bordeaux Montaigne University (France) with a concentration in US geopolitics.
I also have a Master's in pedagogy (language teaching) from the University of Cincinnati (United States), where I've also held a teaching position as a language instructor in French for 2 years.
I am currently preparing for the "Agrégation" in English, the most competitive examination for civil service in the French public education system at the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) Paris-Saclay.
My current research focuses on electoral behavior in direct democracy settings in the United States.
In the past, I have also researched on the implication of science (or junk-science) in lobbying processes in the United States, and how advocacy groups and scientists play (or not) a role in decision-making.
I am also interested in French postcolonial studies from a cultural and political perspective.

Research and Practice Interests
My research focuses on the production of (non) knowledge around firearms in the US.
From 1996 to 2018, publicly-funded research on firearms has been banned by the US government. Various types of knowledge emerged from different sources: privately-funded researcher, advocacy groups, associations, etc.
The goal is to understand the role, the impact and the involvment of each actor in such a contentious field.
