Dr. Jin will join as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at the University of Cincinnati in January 2026. Before joining UC, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Washington University, Caltech, and Northwestern University. He obtained his Ph.D. from Brown University in solid mechanics. His research focuses on integrating experimental solid mechanics, scientific machine learning (neural operators, PINNs), high-throughput nanomechanics, and sustainable materials fabrication for healthcare and engineering applications.
