Jennifer Kelley-Thierman was the Director of Undergraduate Studies in German. In addition to coordinating and supervising the German language courses, she provided training in methods of second-language acquisition to the Graduate Teaching Assistants in the Department of German Studies and taught advanced courses in the undergraduate program as well as the Graduate Readings course.

Dr. Kelley-Thierman's research in the field of Germanistik has focused on the works of Milo Dor, and she has published translations of two of the Austrian writer's works in collaboration with GS Professor Jerry Glenn.
