Professional Summary
Dr. Gene Kritsky is a Professor of Biology, former chair of the Biology Department, and former chair of the Health Sciences Department of the College of Mount Saint Joseph. He is the Adjunct Curator for Entomology for the Cincinnati Museum Center, and a translator of Charles Darwinʼs notes for The Descent of Man at Cambridge University of England. His scholarship is widely published in numerous scientific journals, and he is a recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship to Egypt in 1982. He is the editor of the Entomological Society of Americaʼs journal, American Entomologist, and a former President of the National Association of Academies of Science. Dr. Kritsky is on the Board of the Midwest Biodiversity, Inc. and the Advisory Board of the Cincinnati Museum of Natural History.
