Teach undergraduate nursing students: Success in Nursing, Introduction to Nursing Concepts, Fundamentals of Nursing Clinical, Gerontological Nursing Practice, and Leadership in Nursing. Course development to utilize student centered principles with integration of IPad technology. Instructor of Clinical Health Sciences / College Tech Prep 08-1999 to 08-2014
Taught Clinical Health Science in a student centered model through both didactic and clinical foundations across the life span. The program incorporates foundations in therapeutic and diagnostic principles. Responsible for all aspects of the course design: curriculum, syllabus, analysis of clinical instruction goals, lesson delivery, integration of technology, summative/formative assessments and outcomes. Coordinate and manage advisory committees, clinical sites, contracts and student records. Courses taught are articulated and aligned with college courses in the health sciences.

Nursing Consultant/DLR Management 08-1987 to Present
Designed and implemented Quality Improvement Programs and Regulatory Compliance Programs in four long term care facilities. Conduct staff development and adult in-service education programs. Director of Nursing and Administrative Nursing Liaison. Directed patient care for medical and surgical patients utilizing evidence-based practice models. Policy and procedure development and implementation. Program Coordinator and Primary Instructor for the Ohio Department of Health Nurse Aide Training Program.
Patient Care Coordinator/O.P.T.I.O.N. Care 12-1986-to 03-1989
Operational management of a multidisciplinary team for delivery of infusion services. Delivered therapy for intravenous needs including; hemodialysis, peripheral lines, central lines and port care. Infusion therapies addressed a broad variety of conditions including antibiotic delivery, heart failure, pain management, hydration and home nutritional support; both parenteral and enteral. Taught intravenous care to long term care nursing facility staff as well as patients and families in the ambulatory and home care setting.
