Research and Practice Interests
I am interested understanding how complex animal signals evolve and functions they serve in diverse communicative scenarios. Specifically, I am interested in how syntax of complex signals is influenced by habitat, receiver behavior and evolutionary history. I investigate these questions in the Habronattus jumping spiders genus.
