Professional Summary
Personal Statement
From an early age, the role models and institutions around me inspired my vision to use my talents to help others. In my undergraduate studies at a Jesuit university, I discovered the ideal of being "a woman for and with others." This value of being in community with those that I serve drew me to becoming a physician. It continues to be a guiding principle for how I interact with patients. My favorite memories from my training so far always include a moment of learning something about the patient that cannot be found in their medical record. I am honored to have this career in which patients entrust me to support them through challenging moments in their lives.
Why I Chose Cincinnati
The University of Cincinnati Medical Center is a special place. As a medical student, it is where I fell in love with the field of Internal Medicine because of the physicians who are exemplary educators, patient advocates, and team members. The residents in the program support each other and embrace the philosophy of a growth mindset. I know UC will help me achieve my career goals.
