Professional Summary
Dr. William Miller is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Cincinnati School of Criminal Justice. Miller earned his Ph.D. in criminal justice at the University of Cincinnati in 2023. His research focuses on justice system assessment practices, criminal justice vocational training, and solutions to behavioral health challenges faced by those in justice system.
In addition to academic research, Dr. Miller is an evaluation scientist, having led a wide range of program and policy evaluation projects in 14 states within the judicial, corrections, and social services sectors. His most recent evaluation work focused on domestic violence courts and guardianship and conservatorship monitoring programs for the Idaho Supreme Court.
Miller currently serves on the editorial board for Youth Violence and Juvenile Justice and the American Journal of Orthopsychiatry.
