Professional Summary

Sarah Minneman is CCM’s first Chamber Music Coordinator, joining the college in June 2021. She holds five years of administrative experience prior to this appointment with the University of Southern California Libraries. A staunch believer in the importance of chamber music and community engagement programs, Minneman is a two-time recipient of the Max H. Gluck Fellowship.

In addition to her work at CCM, Minneman is adjunct faculty at Earlham College and Winds Coordinator at Seven Hills Symphony. Minneman is also an active teacher and freelancer in the greater Cincinnati area and has performed with many notable orchestras: Evansville Philharmonic, Lima Symphony Orchestra, Richmond Symphony Orchestra, Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Indiana, Fresno Philharmonic, Riverside County Philharmonic, and Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra.

Minneman is currently finishing her Doctorate in Oboe Performance at CCM, with cognates in Chamber Music and Musicology. Minneman holds an MM in Oboe Performance from the University of Southern California where she was a member of the USC Scholarship Woodwind Quintet. She also holds a BM in Oboe Performance and a BA in Germanic Studies from the University of Maryland. Sarah’s principal teachers have included Titus Underwood, Mark Ostoich, Dwight Parry, Allan Vogel, Joel Timm, Marion Kuszyk, David Weiss, and Mark Hill.
