Lina Motlagh Zadeh

Lina Motlagh Zadeh , PHD

Asst Professor - Educator (F3)

Professional Summary

Initially trained as a clinical audiologist at the Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences (Tehran-Iran). She received her PhD from the University of Cincinnati. After graduation, she continued her postdoctoral training in the Communication Sciences Research Center at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital until August 2023 when she started her faculty position at the University of Cincinnati. Her research interests include development of a set of behavioral measures to assess the effects of peripheral and central auditory abilities on speech perception in noise, understanding the mechanisms underlying subclinical hearing loss, and optimization of hearing healthcare delivery. Her teaching career goal is to contribute to the advancement of clinical care in communication disorders and help her students to be independent thinkers and pioneers when following their clinical careers or pursuing higher education.
