Laura Nabors is a professor in the School of Human Services in the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services. She holds an interdisciplinary position in the School of Human Services and teaches classes in the Health Promotion and Education Program and the Substance Abuse and Counseling Program. Her research focuses on child and family health and mental health issues in community settings.

Research and Practice Interests
My research and practice interests include working with children who have chronic medical conditions and mental health problems. Additionally, I work with chlidren and families to understand the impact of health and mental health concerns on the family. My research also has included the influence of community services for youth, mental health and health prevention for children, and program evaluation for children's service programs.
