Molly Schneider Perez

Molly Schneider Perez, a Pittsburgh native, is a dancer, educator and choreographer. She danced professionally with Mordine & Co Dance Theater, The Dance COLEctive, and the Leopold Group in Chicago and with CORE Performance Company, Staibdance, and Catelilier Dance Projects in Atlanta.

She also worked and traveled with international choreographers Alicia Sanchez (Mexico) and Beppie Blankert (Netherlands).

Perez co-founded indieMOVE, an independent movement project. In 2007 she received The Emerging Artist Award in Dance form the Office of Cultural Affairs in Atlanta.

Her teaching includes heading the outreach program for CORE and working as a teaching artist for Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. She has served on the Board for Mam Luft & Co Dance here in Cincinnati.

She holds a BFA in Dance from Ohio University’s Honors College and an MFA from the University of Michigan as a Rackham Merit Fellow.
