Sameed Pervaiz

Sameed A Pervaiz

Graduate Assistant

Professional Summary

I am a second-year math PhD student with a strong interest in analytical topics. In particular, I am interested in problems related to probability, geometry, and partial differential equations, and am currently undertaking an independent study to determine my candidacy topic.

My recent interests lie in the more theoretical aspects of convex geometry and the calculus of variations, though my physics and bioinformatics background still gives me a soft spot for applied math topics :)
