Dr. Aurora Rivendale is an Assistant Professor in Psychiatry at the University of Cincinnati, She is a recent graduate (2020) of UC’s Family Medicine and Psychiatry Residency Program. She has a deep passion for the integration of whole health for body and mind. She pursued combined training with women’s mental and physical health in mind. She continues to practice both family medicine and psychiatry. She devotes a portion of her psychiatric time to co-located integrated care of women with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. She deeply enjoys fostering community and opportunity to learn and study together as well as working with residents and students.
She believes that bettering the lives of women around the perinatal period can effect lives for generations to come. She has a strong interest in treating trauma, bringing a trauma informed approach to all and fostering resilience with a broad range of treatment modalities.
Her main goal is to improve outcomes for those who bear children, their children and their partners and families.
