Professional Summary
Bill Seale began studies in piano and voice in his hometown of the Washington D.C. suburbs of Maryland. He was accepted into The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in Vocal Performance, studying with Franklin Bens, (teacher of Kathleen Battle) and Patricia Berlin (teacher of Stanford Olson and Mary Mills). After CCM, he began teaching at CCM’s Preparatory Department in Voice, under the direction of Eleanor Allen in 1976. That was also the year that he began his vocal training with Andrew White, teacher of Sherrill Milnes, the famous Metropolitan Opera baritone. He worked with White for the next 20 years.
Seale has taught many, many singers over the years and they have done well with their singing careers in opera, oratorio and musical theater. They have sung in the major opera houses of the world and on Broadway. He is also the Director of Music at the Presbyterian Church of Wyoming.
