Missi A Stec , DNP, APRN, CNM, FACNM

Dr. Missi Stec is an Associate Professor of Nursing and the Program Director for the DNP program at the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing. Specializing in technology integration in higher education, Dr. Stec was part of the team that earned the College of Nursing an award as an Apple Distinguished Program, one of only two nursing program in the country to receive such an honor.  She is a 2015 Apple Distinguished Educator and a 2016 Worldwide Apple Distinguished Educator. As a CCNE site evaluator and chair of the College Evaluation taskforce, Dr. Stec has lead two successful accreditation visits and has completed several site visit nationwide.   Because of her interest in maternal access to care, she continues to practice full scope midwifery with Lexington Women’s Health in Lexington, KY.
