Professional Summary
Chris Sutter, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of management and the Fealy Family Endowed Chair of Entrepreneurship in the Carl H. Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Sutter is an accomplished scholar with research focused on entrepreneurship, institutions, resourcefulness, and societal issues. He has published in leading academic journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, and Organization Science. Dr. Sutter also served as a Field Editor at the Journal of Business Venturing for three years. Dr. Sutter has engaged in consulting and field research with organizations in the United States, India, and Latin America and he is fluent in Spanish. Prior to joining UC, Dr. Sutter spent 11 years at Miami University where he taught courses in business model development, social entrepreneurship, consulting, and innovation. Along with colleagues from Global Health, he founded Social Innovation Weekend. Dr. Sutter received his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University and his MBA and BA from Brigham Young University.
