Professional Summary
Personal Statement
Music has taught me that three consecutive notes can never make a chord. They must be apart at specific points to sound beautiful, however, there are endless combinations. There is a certain satisfaction that comes with striking the right notes, which is an accurate reflection of the field of Internal Medicine. My passion was further ignited by the high-acuity patients I encountered in my clinical rotations. Providing evidence-based treatment and witnessing their clinical improvement fueled my ambition. I will continue to advocate for my patients and strive to better myself and my knowledge to improve patient care.
Why I Chose Cincinnati
Transitioning from Pakistan to the USA for further training marks a significant leap yet choosing UC as my top preference was perhaps the simplest decision I've ever made. The program's emphasis on a growth mindset, balanced approach to clinical education and research, and palpable camaraderie among faculty, staff, and residents deeply resonate with my values and aspirations. The honesty and sincerity of everyone I met reinforced my belief that this is where I belong. I can easily envision myself thriving here for the long term.
