Laura L Walden

 
Laura Walden is an Adjunct professor for the Master of Health Administration Program for the University of Cincinnati; she teaches Emerging Issues, Health Policy and a Capstone course. In addition, she has served as a Financial Analyst for the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and currently serves as a Senior Financial Analyst for Bon Secours Mercy Health in Cincinnati.
 
Laura has extensive experience in the oversight of projects within the healthcare field including tenures within insurance, and software and academic research. As well as, financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, project management, healthcare cost and quality analysis, pricing and reimbursement, contracting strategy, and client relations. Additionally, she has detailed knowledge of medical and pharmacy claims data; development of financial models and use of advanced illness classification tools to produce sophisticated analysis.
 
Laura obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Miami University. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Xavier University. She is recognized for her ability to work with diverse clients and staff as an accomplished health care professional with a proven track record in financial reporting, analysis, and process improvements.
